how did the 1099 get automatically filed?

Our company has QBO advance subscription. Sometime in January, we were going to review all vendors and file the 1099s, but when we logged in, we noticed that all 1099s had already been filed. No one from our team is saying they filed those. There are several mistakes and many vendors who did not get the 1099s. I am wondering how those could have been filed - automatically?

If multiple users have access to your QuickBooks account, @tara78, it’s possible that someone from your team filed the 1099s. Let me direct you to the appropriate support team to check your account activity.

Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks account using your web browser.
  2. Head to the Help icon, then the Search tab.
  3. Enter Contact US in the search box.
  4. Click Contact Us.
  5. Pick the Chat or Callback option.
