Welcome to the Community, @irose-earthlink-

Allow me to share where you can find your 1099 form in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Normally, you'll receive an email invitation once your employer has filed your form and the account created is free. Once ready, you can view your 1099 form on the Forms section under the Clients menu in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Moreover, here's how you can fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self_Employed.

In the same manner, I've also included this QuickBooks Self_Employed Overview for more information.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand.

In my version of Quickbooks Self-employed, there is no menu item for "Clients."  The menu items on the left side do not include that as a choice at all.

I appreciate you for joining the thread, @irose-earthlink-.

I'll help you with accessing your 1099s sent from QuickBooks/Intuit.

Regular QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) doesn't have the Clients tab at the left panel. As mentioned by Ethel_A, you'll  need to open QBSE through the invitation email send from your employer or client. If you already have a QBSE account, select Sign in. Or, follow the steps to create a limited QBSE account with limited features wherein you can fill out your W-9, submit it, and view your 1099-MISC.

For more hints about viewing your 1099s, you can open this link: Fill out a W-9 and view your 1099-MISC in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
