How do I find my company id?

I have desktop pro, not online. I don't have a gear icon, and the shortcut doesn't work.

The Gear icon and company ID is for QuickBooks Online, kgoodyear.

For QuickBooks Desktop, you will be using a license number. There are also a couple of ways on how to look for it.

The easiest is to go to your Home page and press the F2 button in your keyboard.
