How do I run a Sales by Product/Service Detail report based on ship date?

I need to run the Sales by Product/Service Detail based on ship date so that I can see what products I need to purchase this week for orders that need to ship next week. 

 

Ex: I have 43 invoices that were created 8/8/2023 that will be packed and shipped on 8/15/2023 and that ship date is on all of the invoices. 

 

I went to run the report and set it for "next week" but the report comes up blank. If I select "this week" then they all show up because they were entered this week. I added the ship date to the columns in hopes that that would work but it did not.

When running a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the reporting period is based on the dates of the transactions. Currently, the option to filter the Sales by Product/Service Detail report based on ship date is unavailable.

 

I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. We'd love to hear your input. I recommend leaving feedback to notify our engineers about the feature you need. This way, they can consider adding it in future updates.

 

Here's how to submit feedback:

 

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear (Settings) icon at the top right.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
