Welcome to the Community space, Barb. We'll help you set your printer to print checks in the correct alignment inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before digging deeper into your query, we want to ensure we're supplying details to help you resolve your current situation. Also, we'd like to ask if you're trying to print checks in the middle of the page. Or are you trying to rearrange and correct the alignment when printing your checks?
If you want to print checks in the middle of the page, know that you'll want to reach out to your IT Personnel so they can help you set it up and have your checks printed accurately. However, if you're trying to correct the alignment of the checks inside the paper where you want it to print, you'll need to install or ensure your Adobe Reader is running the latest release. We'll write down the steps to get you going:
Click + New.
Select Print checks.
Click Print setup.
Select No, continue setup.
Click the latest version of the Reader link. This takes you to Adobe’s page where you can download the latest version of Acrobat Reader.
After installing Acrobat, go back to QuickBooks. Then select the How? link to set Adobe Reader as your browser’s default PDF viewer.
Go back to QuickBooks and select View preview and print sample. Then select Print.
Follow the on-screen steps to finish printing your sample check.
Check the alignment of your sample against a blank check.
Additionally, here's an article to help you keep track of transactions you've entered inside QBO: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
