How do I set up electronic signatures for estimates

I have QB Enterprise desktop edition. I want my customers to be able to sign estimates electronically, is there a way to set something up so it goes out with each estimate?

Hi there, Big Rons.

 

Getting electronic signatures for estimates is currently not a feature in QuickBooks Desktop. I suggest looking for third-party apps that offer this service.

  2. You can use keywords to search for an app.

I followed that app link, I didn't see what I was looking for. I will explain myself further so you know exactly what it is I'm looking for. We send proposals to our clients before we do a job, there are also terms and conditions that the client has to agree to. We currently have that in the body of the email that goes out with the estimate. The client has to accept the estimate and the terms and conditions before we will do the work. A lot of people do not have a printer or scanner to sign it and send it back. What we would like is for the estimate and the terms and conditions to go out in the form of a Docusign to eliminate the need for them to have to print anything. Is there a way to do that?

At the moment, setting up electronic signatures for estimates is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). 

 

I can see how this feature would greatly help you in managing your business. I'll take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.


In the meantime, you can look for third-party apps that offer this service. Simply search for it using this link: https://desktop.apps.com/home

 

Moreover, you can personally send feedback to our product developer. This way, they can review it and most likely this on our future updates. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online.
  2. Choose Product Suggestion, then enter the details of your concern.
  3. Select Send Feedback and click Close Window.
