how do I sync my recurring expenses to quick book if its not showing in my transactions ?

I sync my bank with quickbooks I see everything else but the recurring car payment with the bank is not showing, is there anyone who had the same issue can help me get this done plz.

Before we proceed, may I ask what financial institution you're in? It will help us check for an ongoing issue with your bank. 

 

To begin, you can manually update your bank to re-establish the connection. This function also allows you to import the latest transactions, ensuring your records are always up-to-date. Here are the steps to do it:

 

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select Update.
  3. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials and select Continue update.

 

If the same things happen, you can visit your bank's website to check for any alerts or notifications. These may provide information on why recurring car payments aren't syncing properly.

 

In the meantime, we can manually upload transactions to QuickBooks using a CSV file. This method allows you to import multiple transactions at once, including your recurring car payment. Refer to this page on how to do it: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

 

From the moment you need to download transactions, and you notice the missing car payment causes duplication, I recommend excluding them moving forward.

 

Please also note that once the bank connection is properly established and no technical issues interfere with the synchronization process, your financial transactions will seamlessly display within the designated Banking tab in QuickBooks.
