If the account reconciliation process is complete, I can show you how to close the book on QuickBooks Online, @deal1tc.

Closing the books is vital to prevent unwanted changes before filing your taxes. It locks your books so no one can edit your accounting data before the closing date. 

Moreover, we need to reconcile the account before we can close the book.

Here's how to close the books:

1. Go to the Gear icon.

2. Under Your Company, click Account and Setting.

3. From the left panel, select Advanced.

4. Choose the pencil icon from the Accounting section.

5. Select the Close the books checkbox, and enter the Closing Date.

6. Choose Allow changes after viewing a warning or  Allow changes after viewing a warning and entering a password from the drop-down list.

7. Enter your closing date Password, then Confirm Password fields.

8. Click Save once done.
