How do you correct a 1099 that was already accepted by the IRS

You can submit amendments using our platform if you've already e-filed your 1099 form with QuickBooks. However, if you haven't, you'll need to manually submit the amended 1099 form directly to the IRS.

Please note that any corrections must be submitted using the same method used for the original submission.
