I can help you in printing your register showing those split transactions, @nmiller2.

You can generate a Transaction Detail by Account Report to show these Split transactions. Then, filter the Distribution Account to only a specific account. You can print it right after.

Let me show you how to run this report:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and look for the Transaction Detail by Account Report.
  2. Set the Report period and all the filters needed.
  3. You can click on the Gear icon on the report to include the Split on the columns.
  4. Click the Customize button and scroll down to the Filter section.
  5. Select the Distribution Account checkbox and choose the accounts that you’d like to include in this report.
  6. Click on Run report once you’re done.
  7. Once you’re done, click on the Print icon on the report.
  8. Follow the prompts to finish printing the report.

This does not give the details on the split.

Thanks for getting back to us, @nmiller2.

For now, the option to print split transactions through the View register is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Although, I can provide you an alternative option you can use to get these details.

You can run the Transaction List with Split reports to show all of your split transactions, then print it to get your data. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Type Transaction List with Splits in the search bar.
  3. Change the Report period.
  4. Click on Run report.
  5. Select the Print icon.

Additionally, you can customize your reports in QBO to easily view the transactions that you needed the most.

I can see how this option would be helpful for you and your business. Therefore, let me take note of this as a suggestion to improve your QuickBooks experience.

If you need further help with printing transactions in QuickBooks, just place your concern and I'll help you out. Have a great day ahead.
