Thank you for reaching out to the Community, stchco43. I can show you the steps in recording your bill payment using E-transfer in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

You can record your bill by going to your Expense tab in your QBO. You can follow these steps on how to record it.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Expense tab. Then, select Vendors.
  2. Look for the vendor's name, then click the vendor with the bill.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow, under the Action column.
  4. Select View/Edit. Then, tick Mark as paid.
  5. Select a bank from the Bank/Credit account dropdown.
  6. Enter a note on the Ref no. field to easily identify the payment.
  7. Enter the Payment date and Amount.
  8. Select the bill under the Outstanding Transactions section.
  9. Tap Save and Close.
