The option to show patient names in customer statements is unavailable, @sheena13. Currently, statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO) don't offer the same level of customization as invoices.

You can only customize the display of each transaction on a separate line and include an aging table at the bottom. Check out this article for more details: Create and send customer statements in QuickBooks Online.

As a workaround,  download the customer statement and modify it with the information you need outside QuickBooks.

To download the form:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select Customers.
  2. Select the customer whose statements you want to download and edit.
  3. Click the Statements tab.
  4. Choose a statement and select Print or Preview to open the statement as a PDF file to print or download.

In the meantime, I recommend submitting direct feedback to our Product Engineers. They can study this feature and consider adding it to future product updates. Follow the steps for guidance:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

You can visit our QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website to track the status of your submitted feedback.

I also added this link for future reference when recording customer payments in QuickBooks: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
