How to delete invoice templates in QB desktop 2020

I've got the steps and screenshots so you can delete the invoice templates in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2020, @farmerbookkeeper. 

 

Fiat Lux - ASIA is correct. Let's go to the Templates list to achieve your goal, and I'm here to guide you how. 

  1. Go to Lists from the top menu.
  2. Select Templates. 
  3. Right-click the invoice template you want to delete.
  4. Choose Delete Template.
  5. Click OK to confirm the deletion. 
  6. Repeat the process for your other templates. 

 

The screenshots below show you the first to fifth steps. 

 

 

Also, I'd suggest visiting this website: Use and Customize Form Templates. This link provides you steps on how to duplicate, export, import, and manage your form templates in the program.

go to menu Lists > Templates > delete it

I'm actually using QB desktop 2023 but it will not let me delete a template.  I receive a message telling me I have to make it inactive, which I did.  The problem is that when I print the invoice, it continually defaults to the inactive template which I made inactive.??? Can you help?

Hi I’m Clark from RDC Kinshasa 

i tried to delete Templates but still warning :”This Template is Locked to keep…. You can’t delete it. (Version 21.0)

i tried to customize my own template but every time I’ve to go on Formatting Section before I print Receipt 🧾 !! 

please help! How to make mine “template” like default!!!
