How to handle software subscriptions in Inventory

What is the best practice for handling software subscriptions like Office 365 and Adobe products that enforce co-termination?  I don't want Quickbooks to adjust the "cost" of an item because I added a license mid-year and the cost is a pro-rated amount.

I think there's nothing special to do. Just enter the charges as you're charged for the accounts. The fees are likely so small they are likely not material and not worth pro-rating or adjusting.

 

Also, what is "co-termination"? I've never seen that term before.
