how to import Qb Id'd with all the record details in excel

When we migrate desktop data then does that create new trust account or it will merge with the existing trust account?

What is "Id'd"?

Let me explain how migrating accounts works in QuickBooks Online, so you can get back to working order, kbs24.

Before we start, may I know the Qb Id'd that you wish to import, along with all of its details, in an Excel file? It can help us get on the same page and provide accurate resolution.

Also, when you move your file from QBDT to QBO, the accounts can be merged if they have the same name and type. If the migration creates a new account, you can choose to combine them. Keep in mind that merging accounts is permanent and you can't undo it later.

To combine two accounts, make sure all the important information from the other account matches what you put in the new account you want to keep. To merge accounts, follow the steps below:

  1.  Go to the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the duplicate account (the account you won't keep) and select the dropdown ▼ in the Action column. Then, click Edit.
  3. Change the Account name (Name) and Tax form section (Detail Type) so the duplicate account's info exactly matches the account you want to keep.
  4. When you're ready, select Save, and then Yesmerge accounts.

QuickBooks will now move its past transactions from the duplicate to the account you want to keep. You'll want to visit this reference for detailed instructions: Merge duplicate accounts, customers, and vendors in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, here's a guide to assist you in reviewing downloaded bank transactions and ensuring that your accounts correspond with your credit card and bank statements:

If you have other questions about merging accounts or anything related to QuickBooks, please post them here. I'm here to help you. Keep safe.

@kbs24

You can use an importer tool.

If you want to migrate data to an existing QBO account, consider to purchase a 3rd party migration service.
