Is there a way to batch or automatically make customers who haven't done business with you within say 5 years inactive? Just really time consuming to go one customer at a time.

Hello there, cartoonera.

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. I'm here to provide some info about making customers inactive in QuickBooks Online.

At this time there isn't a way to make customers inactive in a batch. For now, making customers inactive can be done by:

1. Opening the Sales tab.
2. Go to the Customers tab.
3. Locate the customer's name that you want to make inactive.
4. Click on the drop-down arrow from the Action column.
5. Select Make inactive.
6. Click Yes to confirm.

The following article offers additional info about managing customers in QuickBooks Online.

I can see how having a batch delete function would be helpful. You can enter your suggestion by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner of your account and then select Feedback.

Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions for me. I'll be here to help.
