How to migrate date from Quicken for Mac to QB online

Quicken to QuickBooks data conversion is a one-way process. You'll need to export your Quicken data as a CSV file and then import it into QuickBooks.

Since you encounter an issue migrating your data, I recommend contacting Quicken's Support Team. They can recommend which file format to use, so you can covert the information. 

Once the file is ready, import it into the online program. Here's how:

1. Log in to QBO.
2. Head to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose  Import Data.
3. Select the type of list that you want to import.
4. Click the Browse button and look for the .csv file.
5. Tap the Open button and select Next. 
6. This action will open the Map data page. There’s a green checkmark on the fields that QuickBooks recognizes. Otherwise, you’ll see No Match.
7. Use the dropdown menu to map the fields and choose  Next.
8. From there, review all the entries that you're going to bring into the program.
9. Press the Import button.

Next, connect your bank account and categorize the transactions using bank rules. This is to ensure they'll go in the right categories.
