Linking your bank account helps you save time updating your bank feeds. We've got some troubleshooting steps to re-connect it in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

What specific error message have you encountered, and what is the bank's name when linking it into QBO? Any other information will help us find a solution and better isolate the issue.

In the meantime, we can check your bank website if there is an ongoing maintenance issue. The program depends on what your bank shares and how transactions are posted on your bank's website.

Then, make sure we're linking the correct account by logging into your bank's website and copying the bank URL. Once done, follow these steps to link your bank account again:

  1. From the left menu, click Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Link account.
  3. In the search field, enter the bank's URL you've just copied.
  4. Choose your bank.  You might have to go through these steps again to find the correct one.
  5. Enter your bank login on your bank's website, then press Continue.
