How to start QB without opening company file

I typically work with several different company files. Is there a way to open QB without opening a company file.
I'm tired of opening QB waiting for a company file to load only having to close it and then selecting the company I wanted in the first place.

    Two ways:

    1. Close the open company before closing QuickBooks.

    2. Hold down the Ctrl key as you launch QuickBooks.

      Thanks - I tried the CTRL key before, but I didn't hold it for the entire launch period.
      I was hoping there was some option in the settings to click on/off, but I guess this will do.
