How to upgrade my second company file to 2019 from 2016 (I already have my other company file upgraded)

I have upgraded one of my two company files to 2019 Desktop Mac version.  Now I've discovered that my other company file hasn't been upgraded, and I don't know how to do that.  I got a notice that my 2016 version won't work after the end of May 2019, so I'm a bit worried!  Thanks.

Thank you, RoseMarjorieA.  The ghost file turned out to not be helpful, but following your other instructions finally got me in and I now have both companies running in QB 2019.  I appreciate your help!

Open the company file with the new version, QB will upgrade the file.

Thank you, Skinny Raven, I think I understand what you're saying, but I don't know how to find  that company with the new version in order to bring it in.  Where do I look for it?  Thanks.
