How to void a 1099?

I'll guide you on how to void a 1099-NEC, arlene.

Once you successfully submitted your 1099 electronically, you'll have the option to void it if the status is rejected. Here's how:

1. Open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
2. Go to Taxes and select the 1099 filings tab.
3. Click the Void button.

However, there's still an ongoing investigation about the option to Void from the 1099 filings tab. You may have to check if it's also missing on your end. If it is, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team so they can add you to the list of affected users and get notified once it's resolved.
