I accidentally installed a second instance of QuickBooks Online from my Shopify store. How do I need to remove this second instance?

I cannot seem to remove the QBO app from the Shopify side.  I hope it can be removed by QB support.

We appreciate you for posting in the Community, @mickey18.

I want to make sure you're able to cancel the QuickBooks Online account you accidentally get through Shopify.

While we're unable to handle account-related concerns here in the Community, I recommend getting in touch with our Customer Support team. This enables them to review your account in a more secure environment and help you further. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO company.
  2. Click on Help (?).
  3. Choose either tab to start:
  • Assistant: Get fast, personalized responses. Pick a suggested option, or enter the topic you need help with. If you need more help, click on Talk to a human.
  • Search: Browse the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or click on Contact Us and select a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat
    • Get a callback

Please note their support hours to ensure they're available for assistance.

If you happen to have access to the second QBO account, here's how you can cancel it.

Here's an additional link to learn more about account management: Manage your QuickBooks account.

Please let us know if this goes. We'll make sure to respond as soon as we can. Keep safe.
