I will be deactivating the email that is my primary login to QBO.  How can I change that to a new email address?

Hi there, @wpd.

I’ll help you manage your account and change your email address in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This way, you can update the following you want to change in your company file. Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. From there, navigate to your profile and click Manage your Intuit Account.
  3. In the Intuit Account Manager window, go to the Sign-in & security tab.
  4. Under the Sign in info, go to the Email address section and click the arrow to edit.
  5. Enter your new email address and confirm this by re-typing below.
  6. Lastly, click Save.

That’s it! Moreover, I added an article here for your reference when turning on your QuickBooks features: Edit company settings in QuickBooks Online.

Drop your reply if you have more queries in QuickBooks. The Community always has your back. Have a good one!
