Open your QBO account on any private/incognito browser. If the same error persists, you can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Thanks for posting here in Community space, Nasb. Allow me to share some information of linking bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

I appreciate your efforts keep on trying to add your bank account. Yes, 4Gal is right that you can open your QBO account in private window. Also, to provide an accurate response to your concern, may I ask what's the specific error you've encountered on your screen? Any additional information such as screenshots, is very much appreciated.

I too am getting an error with importing different bank accounts. The error says "Validation Failed" at the point of submitting the request to link to import the transactions. The accounts have linked but only certain transactions have imported. I have requested all of 2024 and the import only pulled some accounts back to Nov 2024.  I also tired Incognito Mode and that did not work either. Have checked the accounts and the banks acknowledged the linking. Just need to understand why the transactions are not syncing properly.

 If you are having difficulty linking your bank transactions, I recommend contacting your bank to ensure that everything is functioning properly on their end.

To get assistance:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on the (?) Help icon.
  3. Choose the Assistant tab for assistance from the QB Assistant, or select the Search tab to type in your query and access helpful articles.

 

In the meantime, you can manually upload transactions to ensure all entries are uploaded or recorded in QBO. This way, we can guarantee that your financial records remain accurate and up-to-date.

 

After uploading your transactions, review and categorize them to reconcile your uploaded transactions.
