Question

I am trying to void my rejected 1099 forums but I do not see "From the 1099 filings tab, select Void forms. This will void all forms that have been rejected."

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @ripplepoolservic

There's an ongoing issue when trying to void rejected 1099s. There's no option to void and refile it. Our Product Engineering team is already aware of this and is now working on a fix.

In the meantime, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team. By doing so, you can be added to the list of affected users and receive an email notification once we resolve the issue.

You can reach them by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Then, let them add you to Investigation No. 98606.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent.
  2. Select the Search tab and click on the Contact Us button.
  3.  Select a topic for your concern in the What can we help you with? section.
  4. You'll now be provided options on how to connect to our Customer Support.

You can check this article for more information about the different types of support we offer and their availability: QuickBooks Online Support.

Here's an article that addresses common issues that may arise when generating 1099s for contractors, such as missing or incorrectly showing contractors. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to check the contractor's eligibility for 1099s, ensure the payments meet the required threshold, and review the expense accounts associated with the transactions: Troubleshoot missing contractors or wrong amounts on 1099s

Then, you can refer to this article on how to correct errors or make amendments to 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms after they have been e-filed. It suggests different solutions depending on whether the forms have already been filed or are still in the process of being created: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks

I'm always here if you need more help with your 1099s. Just let me know by leaving a reply below. Keep safe, and have a wonderful day!
