I can not connect any accounts. I always get this error."we couldn't link this account to your QuickBooks categories"

Let's make sure you can connect your accounts and get rid of the error, Bishop.

Before we start, may I know what's the name of your bank? Generally, when you connect your bank, the transactions automatically download and categorize which lets you save time in updating bank feeds. The only thing that you'll do is to review and approve them. 

You'll want to make sure that the account is set up with the correct account type in the Chart of accounts to prevent issues when connecting your bank. The account type determines which financial report QuickBooks adds each account's data to. Choosing the right account type sets you up with accurate reports, such as the balance sheet and profit and loss reports, so you can analyze the financial health of your business. I've added a screenshot where you can set up the correct type of account in your chart of accounts.

Please know in order for the chart of accounts to look the same as highlighted above, you'll have to switch to Business view to access the Account Type field. Please see below:
