I can't access my bank register because I get an error message "cannot read properties of null (reading 'getMonth'). I am not sure what means

A cache-related issue could be causing that error message to pop up. Let's try accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. 

 

Here are some shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

 

If the error message isn't showing up anymore, I suggest clearing your regular browser's cache. This way, you can access QBO with a clean slate. You may also use a different supported browser.

 

Additionally, I'd like to know the name of your bank so I can check from my end if there are any related ongoing investigations.
