I can see all the info from this year and the year before but when I click on the tax forms tab, they don’t show up

Let's work together and get this sorted out, noah-roba17-gmai.

After your client submits your 1099-MISC/NEC to the IRS, a notification will be sent to you when it's ready for viewing or download. You'll want to verify with them first if they already filed the tax form.

Once confirmed, sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed again. Then, select the Clients menu and go to the Forms tab again. From there, you'll see the list of employers who submitted 1099s.

If you're still unable to view them, we'll have to perform some basic troubleshooting procedures. There are times the accumulated cache becomes corrupted causing unusual behaviors in the program.

To get started, open your QuickBooks Online through a private or incognito window. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If that works, go back to your regular browser and clear the site data to improve your browsing experience. Switching to other supported browsers can also help further isolate the issue.
