In case the account name is an employee, you'll have to manually add the worker's information in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Be sure to inform the worker that they need to provide a copy of their W-4: Employee’s Withholding Certificate, which includes personal details like their name, address, social security number, dependents, and adjustments. While they have the option to input this data during the invitation process, it's necessary to keep a copy for your records.

When you're ready, follow these steps to add the worker again:

1. In your company, navigate to the Payroll menu on the left panel and choose Employees. 
2. Go to the List tab and tap the Add an employee button.
3. This will take you to the Who's your new team member? window.
4. If you wish to input the worker's personal, tax, and banking information, uncheck the Yes, allow employee to enter their tax and banking info in the Workforce box, and tap the Continue button. 
5. In the Employee List screen, enter the worker's information.
6. Press the Save button.
