I filed my 1099's 8 days ago, but the status still says "InAgency" and none of my contractors have received their 1099's yet. What is happening?

The In Agency status simply means the IRS has received your filing and is yet to be processed. We're unable to provide a specific timeframe for the acknowledgment. However, it does not impact filing deadlines or sending forms to recipients, as the IRS and state tax agencies set those.

Also, there will be a sure posting by the end of January since you e-file your 1099 form before the 28th of this month.
