We're glad you came back here, Jod.
I'll add info about QuickBooks' legitimate emails and how we notify you about account status.
The QuickBooks email domain that will send you the status of your account should come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com, @e.intuit.com, and or intuit.com.
Also, we won't provide a specific contact number to call for account status correction. You can only get a scheduled callback once you reach us via the Help icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
Since you received an email about your account being terminated, you can check out this link to see if this email is reported by other customers: Security notices.
If you can't find a similar email and suspect it is a fake or phishing, you can go to the Contact Us section and click the Report a fake email (or phishing) tab to create a report from this page: Intuit Online Security Center.
You can also reach the dedicated QBO Care Team to check your account status and help you determine if the email you received is fake or phishing. Here's how:
- Click the Help icon.
- Select the Search tab and enter a brief description of your concern below. Then, press Enter on your keyboard.
- Click Contact Us.
- You can select either Chat with us or Have us call you, and we'll give you a callback.
I'll also provide this article to further guide you in recognizing official Intuit emails from fake ones: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.
If you wish to learn how to change your email address, user ID, or password in your QBO account, you can read this article: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.
