I have received multiple emails (5+) from Quickbooks saying my account has been updated, but I haven't updated anything. Is anyone else receiving these emails? Is it spam

Hi there, @noelle8. I want to ensure this will be taken care of.

We understand the concern that arises when receiving emails from suspicious senders, and we prioritize your safety by offering assistance in reviewing the emails you receive.

Below are a few things to look for if you’re not sure an email came from Intuit:

  • We’ll never ask for your personal info in an email.
  • Our emails will always originate from an email address ending with @intuit.com, including @e.intuit.com.
  • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an intuit.com address.

For detailed information, kindly visit: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

To keep yourself safe from such threats, we recommend that you report any suspicious emails or security concerns directly to our security team. We have a designated website where you can submit the information securely. This will help us investigate the matter and take the necessary steps to protect our systems and users from potential cyber threats.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Online Security Center page.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

Moreover, I have included some resources that will assist you in identifying official Intuit correspondence and websites. These resources will help you ensure the security of your data:

Whenever you need further assistance in maintaining your security. You can comment below, and we'll respond to you as soon as possible.

I ended up getting over 50 in a 24-hr period. I followed the instructions from QB to report it and since then, they have stopped.
