The 1099-nec that is produced by QB does not include the Copy 1 or 2 be filed with the state.  How do you do this now that all 1099 must be filed electronically?

Hello there, userparadisecornerps.

I know how crucial it is to follow state laws, particularly when submitting tax forms. I'm here to assist you in finding a solution.

Quickbooks does not enable state filing, so Copies 1 or 2 are not available during filing, and you'll have to submit the forms directly to the IRS. You may consider ordering forms online at IRS Online Ordering for Information Returns and Employer Returns.

In addition, you can view all forms that were filed previously in QBO. To do this, check out this article for more details: View your previously filed tax forms and payments.
