I need to correct a 1099 that was submitted electronically through Intuit e-file and accepted by the IRS. How can I do this?

Let me help and provide information about correcting a 1099 in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you filed your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC through QuickBooks, you'll have to amend through QBO. However, at the moment there's no specific instruction on how to. You can refer to this article for more detailed information. For now, It is best to contact our support team to further check.

Here's how:

1. Go to Help.
2. Select the Search tab, then choose Contact Us.
3. Type in your issue or concern in the field.
4. Hit Continue.
5. Click the Chat or Callback option.

You can contact us from Mondays to Fridays, 6 AM to 6 PM PT, and Saturdays, 6 AM to 3 PM PT.
