I need to update my monthly payment credit card in Quickbooks Online. I've tried clearing my browser cache and deleting cookies and data/intuit. Still won't save my changes.

This isn't what I want you to experience when updating your billing information, Acuprac.

Let me make it up to you by ensuring this gets resolved.

Before proceeding, did you encounter any error messages when changing your credit card info under the Billing & Subscription tab? We can check if there are any related investigations.

If you haven't tried updating your bank details via a private window, I'd recommend doing so. This helps us determine if this is a browser-related issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If you're still unable to save the changes, I'd recommend using other supported browsers. They also provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

In case none of these fixes the problem, I'd suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. They're equipped with tools to check the cause. It'll also allow them to submit a ticket to our engineering team to alert them about the issue if necessary.

Additionally, you can always view your billing history in your QuickBooks Online account. This helps you ensure all the payments are correct. To do so, please see these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and settings.
  3. Select Billing & Subscription.
  4. Click View payment history, then review the information.

Please let us know if you need further assistance in managing your subscription. Doing so helps us to provide an accurate solution for you.

The system is a nightmare!!  I can't update mine either.  Chat was very unhelpful and has not resolved my issue. I have wasted several hours trying to resolve this relatively simple issue.  Every other provider I use has updated new card details with real ease.  Disappointed with QB on this issue.
