Solved

I received an email that my tax forms are ready to view, but when I click view my 1099 and sign in, nothing is shown. There's a blank client list. Help me?

I'm not sure if this is something the community can help with, but Quickbooks support isn't giving me an option to chat or call. I've done some contracting work with a client. They use QuickBooks self-employed to deliver 1099s. I received an email stating that I had a 1099 to view. I've clicked that link several times on several browsers. It leads me to sign in to Intuit, and then shows me a blank page with no information. It says Client List and nothing else. I need this 1099 for my taxes (it's self-employment income, so I owe taxes on it!)  so if anyone has any suggestions to fix this it would be very appreciated!

I commend you for bringing this to our attention. It was a great choice, please keep in mind that we're always here to listen and find the best solution for you.

Thank you for taking the initiative also to perform browser troubleshooting. Since opening it in different browsers several times didn't work, I recommend reaching out to our QBSE Live Team. They have the tools to pull up your account needed in investigating the cause of the issue. Here's how:

  1. Select Assistant from the top bar.
  2. Type or say “Talk to a human.”
  3. Choose Message an agent (Live chat), Call an agent, or Get a callback.
  4. Keep in mind, some options are only available at certain times.
  5. They're open M-F 6 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 6 AM to 3 PM PT.

You can read this guide: 1099s in QuickBooks Self-Employed. This will give more details on how to access your W-9 info and 1099 form.

Please don't hesitate to post here again if you have further questions. We are available 24/7 to lend a hand, tending to each of your queries. Have a great day ahead!

I’m having the same issue and I feel the response to this is very vague and does not answer the question. I called into the customer service line today and was told that I needed to wait 2-3 days for it to “migrate” into their system and if I don’t see it then, contact my employer. I literally created my account from the email that was sent and no information is available on the vendors list for me, just as described.

My 1099 in the incoming forms section are missing.  How long does one have to wait?  Both forms were "accepted" and I am logged in to QBO.  My vendors had the same issue.  Please advise.

The level of support for such items is woefully inadequate and the chat and other access only available during limited hours.  Not a service I will recommend on so many levels
