It's great to have you here, Rubby. I'm here to provide insights to connect your bank to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Midflorida Credit Union is a supported bank in QBO; however, after reviewing my resources, there are ongoing connectivity issues with the bank to QBO. I highly suggest contacting our QBO support team to include your account in the list of affected users.

In the meantime, you can upload your bank transactions manually to keep your books up to date.

Here's how to reach our dedicated line of support:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help.
  3. Navigate to Contact Us and select a topic to connect with the right expert.
  4. Start a Chat or Get a Callback

If you want to learn how to check the format of the CSV file you got from your bank to upload transactions, you can read this article: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Please let me know if you have more questions about managing your account. I'll be happy to help. Keep safe!

@rubycastellanoo-

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

We have methods that can help connect your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), Myscreen. I'm here to guide you through the process.

One of the possible reasons you encounter issues connecting your financial institution is if they have multiple names on our list or they might have different types of accounts but choose to only release one website for connection to QuickBooks.

Let's use other versions of your bank that are listed to resolve this. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  2. Select Link account.
  3. Enter the name of your bank (Midflorida credit union). When it appears, select it from the list.
  4. Select the link to go to your bank's website. This opens a new window. Make sure you can access your account through this page.
  5. If you can access everything, sign out of the financial institution's website.
  6. Go back and continue to add the account in QBO.

Once connected, your most recent transactions will download to QuickBooks. Categorize and/or match them to keep your books updated.

Alternatively, you can upload your transactions through Web Connect or import them from Excel CSV to QBO to manage your financial data.

Additionally, we recommend reconciling your accounts regularly so they always match your monthly statements.
