I appreciate you letting us know about the disappearance of the symbol beside the checkbox when reordering bank transaction rules, davisfamilygb. Let's have this sorted out so you can get back to business quickly.

To ensure a swift resolution, our dedicated live support team is here to assist you. They are equipped with the necessary tools to investigate the cause of this matter and will offer detailed guidance on the next steps to take. Here's a guide to complete the procedure:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and go to the Help (?) menu.
  2. Select the Search tab.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern in the Search field or click the Contact Us button directly.
  4. Choose a way to connect (Schedule appointment, Have us call you, or Chat with us).

Once the issue is resolved, you'll be able to view which downloaded transactions were correctly recognized by a bank rule to ensure accuracy. Then, I also recommend performing regular reconciliations of your accounts keep your financial data updated.

I value your patience regarding this matter. If you have clarifications or questions concerning your bank rules and transactions with QuickBooks, just let us know in the comments. We'll make sure to respond as soon as possible.

Yup. Same issue here.

Fyi, it seems the functionality was broken during an "update".

I contacted the QBO helpdesk yesterday via Live Support Chat, wherein they verified the problem and said “they are working to restore” the Transaction Rules priority editing. They also noted my specific manifestation of the issue during a screensharing exercise.

Sorry, I haven’t been able to find a workaround…but, perhaps my post can satisfy the “at least it’s not just me” feeling.
