If I manually set up a contractor and enter their email address, will they still receive a 1099 via email (they didn't set up themselves via link)?

I'm here to answer your question about setting up a contractor in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you didn't click the box for Email this contractor to complete their profile. They’ll get their own account to safely share their personal details when adding a contractor, then, they will not receive an email. But if you do, then I recommend having them check their email so they can enter info for their W9.
