We're delighted to have you here today, @scchaw3. We have information to help you address your e-filing query.
You can still e-file your 2023 1099 forms later since QuickBooks will continue to let customers e-file 1099s until May 7,2024. If you've already created your 1099, we'll write down the steps to e-file them:
After preparing your 1099s, select the e-file option and verify your 1099s.
Follow the on-screen steps to complete your 1099 e-file. If prompted, enter your billing info. You'll also be able to review each contractor's 1099.
If prompted, choose the delivery option for your contractor's copies. If you don't see this option, you've already given your contractors online access to their 1099s when you added them to QuickBooks. If an email address is wrong, you'll need to update it in QuickBooks. Then go back through the 1099 e-file flow.
You can visit us anytime if you need assistance managing 1099s inside QuickBooks, @scchaw3. We'll be here to help you out again. Stay safe, and have a good one.
