never a problem logging into the bank directly, only when using the Quickbooks interface. I am new and this is my first time trying to connect.

Hello there, Gregg. To isolate the issue, let's troubleshoot your browser.

Sometimes, older or corrupted caching files can cause problems in your web browser. To begin, please open an incognito window and log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. Depending on your browser type, you may refer to the keyboard shortcuts provided below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

When this works, you may proceed to clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored cache to ensure the program performs efficiently. I recommend using another supported browser or device if you still encounter the same challenges.

If the issue persists, we recommend contacting our Support Team. They can assist you properly and investigate the cause of this concern.

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QBO company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a call back from the next available expert.

If you have further concerns about connecting your bank account in QBO, feel free to come back here in the Community. We're here to assist you 24/7.
