Question

If tracked 1099 vendors aren't showing on the list to review, how do you resolve it? I've already verified that the vendors are set up to track 1099.

Vendors were paid by check and several vendors exceeded $600 total in 2023.

Hello there, feliciaholmes.

Since you've confirmed that the setup is accurate and the vendor meets the threshold for receiving a 1099, please also double-check that you're disbursing payments to contractors from the appropriate expense account.

Go to Contractors, then select Contractors.
Select View all contractor payments.
Open each payment to view the Category. This account should be mapped when creating 1099s.

If the same thing happens, let's take some steps to isolate this. I suggest accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in an incognito window to check if cached data causes this behavior.

Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: press Command + Shift + N

You can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. This often resolves issues associated with stored data. You can also try using other supported browsers.
