Im trying to add new bills but when I go to the dropdown menu and choose my supplier it is auto filling in with the details of my last entered bill how do I clear this?

Hi there, tia. It's my pleasure to help stop the auto-fill feature when entering a bill in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

There's a feature in QuickBooks Online called auto-recall to pre-fill transactions. When this feature is enabled, it will automatically fill in the rest of the transaction when selecting a customer, vendor, or employee.

 

If you want to stop this, we can turn off this in the Account and Settings. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click Account and Settings.
  2. Select Advanced.
  3. Click the pencil icon in the Automation section.
  4. Choose Pre-fill forms with previously entered content to disable the auto-recall.
  5. Select Save and click Done.
