Increase the line length of addresses in invoices

To Whom it May Concern,

My customers name and address are fairly long. When I invoice them there name is word wrapped on the bill to address. It looks pretty bad. There is plenty of space to fit it on the template, but quickbooks wraps the text anyway. Is there a way to fix it?

Welcome to the Community.

 

We can modify the layout and appearance of your template to allow more line length and avoid text wrapping.

 

Here's how to customize the appearance:

 

  1. On the Sales tab, go to Invoices.
  2. Locate and select the specific Customer.
  3. Click Edit invoice.
  4. Select Customize on the bottom part of the invoice page.
  5. Select Edit current.
  6. Choose Select a different font to change the font and size.
  7. Click on Edit print settings to adjust the margins.
  8. When you're ready to save your changes, select Done.

I don't want to decrease the font size, I want the BILL TO window to increase so longer addresses/names will not wrap.  There is plenty of space in the invoice for this to be an option.

At this time, QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unable to specifically adjust the BILL TO window when customizing invoices. We value customer feedback and consider it an opportunity to enhance the functionality of our product. While this feature is unavailable, it's best to send your suggestion directly to our engineers. This way, they can review your request and might take it into account for further product enhancements.

 

To do that:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Provide a description of your feature request and click Next.

 

You may keep tabs on the status of your recommendation by visiting our Customer Feedback page.

 

In addition, you can utilize reports in QBO to get comprehensive information on the things you buy and sell.
