integration with Shopify

We migrated over to shopify earlier this year, as QB discontinued their POS- not a painless process and we are still having issues. We recently upgraded our Quickbooks Enterprise to 24.0 version. Unfortunately, our Quickbooks Connector app is still talking to the old version even after we uninstalled the 21.0 Version. We have been talking to both Shopify and QB and they both say it's on the other sides end... it has been six weeks now and I cannot send over any sales or purchase orders over to Quickbooks.... Hoping someone can maybe help? We are doing the integration part again and it won't do anything when we try to sync QBDT classes. Can anyone help with trying to figure how to make Shopify talk to the new version of QB Enterprise?

Hi there, Mchleshaw. I'm here to assist you in getting the QuickBooks Web Connector to recognize the new QuickBooks Desktop version you've upgraded to.

 

After upgrading to a new version, ensure you're also using the corresponding Web Connector. In this case, you'll have to use the Web connector (QBWC) 34.0.1001.27 for the 2024 version. If you're still using the 2021 Web Connector, this is the reason why it's recognizing the old one. If this is the case, you can install the latest Web Connector through the Intuit Developer Site

However, if you're using the corresponding Web Connector, I recommend contacting Intuit Developer's support team. This way, they can further assist you with disconnecting the Connector and reestablish the link between the Web Connector and your new, upgraded QBDT software.

  2. Scroll down, and then click the Contact Support blue button.

Hi Ericka,
Would it be at all possible for you to give us a call? This seems to be an impossible ask when dealing with Shopify but I know in the past Quickbooks has been able to call us directly. Or can we call you directly?

You can try using third party apps. For example, use Synder for Shopify + QBO and it works great. And as far as i know, they offer many ontegrations with other payment and sales platforms. I don't remember any major issues, but their support works very well, so I guess you can ask them if you have any issues.
