Inventory Items Costing Toward P&L By Job Report

I am using QB Premium Plus.  How do I get inventory item costs to reflect on P&L By Job Report if the inventory item isn't charged on the Sales Order?  I pulled the item from inventory to be used on the sale of a fabricated item along with other items bought on Purchase Orders. The Purchased items costs do show on the report !!
