Before we proceed with the invoice template, let me first clarify what you mean by itemizing our products and services. Do you want to associate these products and services with a specific customer? Any information added would be appreciated.

Meanwhile, when adding a message to the note field while creating invoices, please know that only 1,000 characters will be accepted, please refer to the screenshot below. 

With that said, I suggest submitting feedback to enhance the software's functionality. This will allow us to track and consider your suggestions for future updates.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
3. Type in your feedback and suggestions.
4. Click Next to submit them.

Additionally, when a customer pays an open invoice, you need to record the payment in QuickBooks.
