Is anyone else experiencing a duplicate line item bug in your daily "Today’s QuickBooks reminders" emails?

For several days now, the email that I receive that lists the invoices that need my attention have all had the invoices listed twice, as duplicates. So for instance, if Invoice 1234 needs my attention, the email lists it twice, as though there are two Invoice 1234s, but there's only one in the system.

Thank you for the additional details you've provided, dnmh. Let's get this sorted out. 

 

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), sending reminders won't create a duplicate transaction. But it will include only a PDF copy of the transaction. On that matter, we can ensure that there aren't any recurring transactions set up for that customer. 

 

I'll guide you on how: 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Recurring transactions.
  3. Check if there's an active recurring invoice for that customer.
  4. If you find one, select the drop-down arrow from the Action column.
  5. Select Delete, then click Yes to confirm the changes.

 

Afterward, we can locate the specific transactions and delete them
