Question

Is anyone else facing issues with the 1099 E-filing service page? Looks like a glitch at step 2. The page doesn't load further

Hi there, esha. I'm here to ensure you can continue filling out your 1099 using QuickBooks Online.

It's worth noting that step 2 in E-filing your 1099 is where you mark your contractor who will get the 1099. Also, I would like to ask if you've received any error messages when attempting to proceed or move to the next steps. It would significantly help us determine what specific resolution we can give.

In the meantime, we can perform troubleshooting steps to see if your browser causes this issue. Sometimes, our browser's cache can be filled and cause issues when working with QBO. Let's isolate this issue and try running your account using incognito or private mode.

You can use these keyboard shortcuts to access these modes:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Also, you can clear the browser's cache to restart the system and use an updated browser to run your QBO seamlessly.

Additionally, here's an article to help you change or modify a 1099 in QBO: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

Please keep us posted if you need further help regarding the 1099 E-filling page. We're always here to help you out.
