I can get all the way up the point of submitting and when I tell it to submit the forms it gives me the following error message :Sometime Went Wrong. Please try again later".  I have been getting this message for two weeks and I cannot get quickbooks to correct it.  Anyone else having this problem?

Thank you for your reply.  I am already on the list and have reported in several times now.  I understand that your engineers are working on it--what I also need to understand is what is to happen if you do not fix it in time for me to make the deadline which is rapidly approaching. Are you making an alternate plan?

Hi there, @susi2.

I recognize the importance of submitting 1099 forms on time. Please know that our experts are doing their best to resolve this matter quickly.

In the meantime, you can subscribe to Contractor Payments on step 4 of the filing process. It's only possible for those businesses without a payroll subscription. Otherwise, the companies with payroll subscriptions might consider filing outside of QuickBooks.

Once settled, you can keep a copy of the forms by following the instructions in this article: Print your 1099 and 1096 forms.

If you need to revise 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms after you e-filed them, see this article for further guidance: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

I appreciate your patience during this challenging time. Rest assured that we'll update this thread once resolutions are available. Take care.
